My name is Sue Shepard and I am the Sue of Style Me Sue®. I have always enjoyed fashion and all that goes along with it. Of course, that should be true of any Stylist.

Let me share a quick little story that ultimately brought me to this career choice. Style Me Sue® officially launched in 2013 after styling most of my friends and colleagues!  I met my styling idol Stacy London (best known as co-host of TLC’s What Not to Wear) in the spring of 2012.  Her encouragement to become a Wardrobe Consultant came at a pivotal time in my life.

I decided then and there I wanted to assist men and women to feel wonderful, handsome and beautiful, in the clothes they wear every day – not just some of the time or on special occasions, but all the time! I hope to impress upon you to embrace the body you have now, not to wait until someday. It seems that most everyone sees themselves as too something; too short, too thin, too heavy, too something. The way you dress does have an impact on how you feel and how people perceive you. Think of it this way, you are your own personal brand. What does the way you dress say about you?

I believe one of my strongest (teachable) skill sets is to pull together great looking outfits from seldom worn clothing. After reviewing those pieces you may find they have served you well but are now just taking up space in your closet. I found many friends and clients had difficulty parting with these gently worn and, many times, expensive pieces.

This prompted me to open a clothing consignment store, Style Me Sue® Consignments! Style Me Sue® Consignments is located in the historic Damascus Electric building on Main Street, Damascus. We opened as the anchor store of The Shops at Damascus Electric on April 1, 2016. We have grown and expanded and as of January 1, 2020, Style Me Sue® Consignments fills the entire Damascus Electric building!
